ZTE Blade A610 Plus packs 5000mAh battery, priced at Rs. 11,999
ZTE is keeping a low-profile in the Indian smartphone market. But the company's latest budget offering has all the potential to take on Xiaomi's Redmi Note 4, which is already declared a hit. Called Blade A2 Plus, the phone comes with a bigger 5000mAh battery, which according to ZTE can last up to 22 hours.
The phone flaunts a metal unibody design and has a square shaped fingerprint scanner at the back. For operating system, the phone ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Blade A2 Plus features 5.5-inch Full HD display @ 1920 x 1080 pixels, powered by MediaTek MT6750T octa-core chip paired with Mali T860 GPU and 4GB RAM. The storage capacity is 32GB, which can be further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.
It sports 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, PDAF and can record 1080p videos. At the front, there is an 8MP camera. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
ZTE will sell the Blade A2 Plus exclusively on Flipkart from February 26 onward for Rs. 11,999.
On paper, the Blade A2 Plus has all the ingredients to sell well, but the use of MediaTek chip, instead of Qualcomm's will be a drawback, as most customers prefer Qualcomm over MediaTek.
