Micromax Launches Canvas Selfie Smartphone with 13MP rear and front Cameras In India

Micromax has launched a new selfie-centric smartphone called the Micromax Canvas Selfie in India.The device has been designed for the image-conscious women. The Canvas Selfie features a faux leather rear finish.

The handset comes with 13MP front-facing and rear cameras accompanied by an LED flash, with Sony sensors. The inbuilt camera is loaded with beauty tools like Eye Enhancement, Face Slimming, Skin Smoothening, Teeth Whitening, Make-up, Remove Oil and Fade Dark Circles.

Coming to the specs the Canvas Selfie, features a  a 4.7-inch HD IPS display protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor, paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory expandable via microSD card upto 32GB. The device ships with Android 4.4 KitKat and supports dual SIM.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, and 3G. The device is powered by a 2300mAh battery. The Canvas Selfie will be available in two colour variants - Mystic Blue and Angelic white.

The Canvas Selfie will be available in second week of January 2015. There is no information on the price of the handset.
