Microsoft launches 'Gestures' - An App to control your Windows Phone with Gestures

Gestures Beta is the latest utility App from Microsoft where you can control some of the functionalities of your phone without touching the display. It is worth noting that this feature is in Beta, therefore some bugs may be found. This is the first release of Gesture, so expect more features to be added as updates roll out.

Here's a quick look at its features
  • Answer a call by picking up your phone and putting it to you ear
  • Mute your mic during a call by placing the phone on a flat surface with the display facing down
  • Put the call on speaker by placing the phone on a flat surface with the display facing up
  • Silence the incoming call ringer by flipping device display down.
Microsoft points out that some of the above functions are "limited" on the Lumia 630 , 635 and 530. The Gesture Beta is compatible on all other Windows Phone 8.1 handsets.
