Tonino Lamborghini 88 Tauri is official, priced at $6,000

If money is not a problem, than you are at the right place. Lamborghini has launched its new premium smartphone called the 88 Tauri.

The 88 Tauri will be made available in a limited quantities of 1947 units, to commemorate the birth year of Tonino Lamborghini, the son of Ferruccio, the founder of Lamborghini.

There is no modesty in the design of the Tauri 88. The device is made of steel (available in Gold, Black or plain steel colours) and leather (a choice of Black, Blue, Red, Orange and Brown) complete with decorative stitches. The phone has been designed in Italy and features the trademark raging bull logo.

The 88 Tauri will support dual-SIM with both the SIMs active at the same time and will support 4G LTE networks.

In addition to the visual working, the specifications do not disappoint. The Tauri 88 features a  a 5-inch full HD display protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and paired with 3GB of RAM and the device supports microSD card.It runs Android KitKat 4.4.

Camera features include 20-megapixel rear camera with dual flash led and 8-megapixel front camera. It packs a 3400mAh battery.

The Tonino Lamborghini 88 Tauri will be available starting late December at a hefty price of $6,000 ( Rs. 3,71,000). You will need a generous bank balance to buy this handset.
