World's thinnest Smartphone Vivo X5Max launched in China
Chinese brand Vivo has officially launched the X5Max. With just 4.75mm thickness, the X5Max has become world’s thinnest smartphone beating the Oppo R5.
The motherboard uses a unique "one-sided layout critical" to reduce the thickness to 1.77mm and also uses the thinnest speaker module sized at 2.45mm, coupled with YAMAHA’s YSS-205X sound chip.
Image Source : MyDrivers Coming to the specs, the X5Max sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED full HD display and is powered by a1.7GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (microSD card support). Camera features include 13-megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX214 sensor and a 5-megapixel front shooter. Connectivity features include dual-SIM, 4G LTE (Cat. 4), Wi-Fi, USB OTG, and Bluetooth. The device is backed by 2,000mAh battery and runs Funtouch OS 2.0, based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. |
The X5Max has been priced at 2998 yuan ($485 and Rs. 30,000) and will go on sale beginning December 22 in the Chinese market. Vivo is also hosting a press invent in India on December 15 where it is expected to announce the X5Max.
