Acer Aspire R13 Convertible launched in India At Rs.83,999

Acer has launched the Aspire R13 Windows based convertible notebook in India. The notebook can transform between various notebook and tablet style modes of operation. The notebook was first unveiled at IFA 2014 and has won Laptop Mag's "Best Of IFA 2014" award for "Best Hybrid".

The Aspire R13 features a unique "Ezel Aero" hinge with a U-frame structure that can rotate in six different modes - Display, Notebook, Ezel, Stand, Tent and Tablet.

It also supports an optional Acer Active Pen. The pen works with Acer's pen-enabled software dubbed Acer Hover Access is pre-installed on the notebook. 

The Acer Aspire R 13 features a 13.3-inch full-HD touchscreen display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It also feature Zerp Air Gap technology and is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor. It packes 8GB RAM and offers upto 512MB SSD storage. It offers Dolby Digital Plus sound output, Dual-Array mic, Acer Screen Grasp, Acer AccuFinger, Acer Purified voice and upto eight hours of battery life. It runs Windows 8.1.

The Acer R13 will be available at CROMA retail stores from today with a starting of Rs. 83,999 in India.
