Acer Launch Chromebook C740 and C910 For Students

Acer launched two new chromebook laptops,  Chromebook C740 (11.6-inch) and Chromebook C910 (15-inch) which are aimed for educational purpose. The laptops have been designed to be extremely durable and comes with reinforced covers that can survive 60Kg of pressure and drop from 1.5 feet without any damage.

The Acer Chromebook C740 and C910 sports 11.6-inch and 15-inch displays respectively and is powered by Intel Broadwell-based Celeron or Core i3 processor.

The Chromebook C740 will be available in 2GB and 4GB RAM versions and will have 16GB SSD storage and deliver upto nine hours of battery life. The Chromebook C910 will be available only with 4GB RAM but will have two storage variant -16GB and 32GB SSD and delivers upto eight hours of battery life.

The Acer Chromebook C740 and C910 will go on sale at starting price of $260 (Rs.16,000) and $300 (Rs. 18,450) respectively and will be available in major markets by February.
