Apple Watch Will Be Shipped In April, Says Tim Cook

Apple's first smartwatch dubbed Apple Watch will start shipping in April revealed Apple CEO Tim Cook during conference call. He also said that "development for Apple Watch is right on schedule." The Apple Watch is priced at $349 (Rs. 21,000)

The Apple Watch was unveiled alongside iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in September 2014. The Apple Watch is the company's first forray into wearable device segment.

The Apple Watch will be available in three styles - Apple Watch with Steel Bracelet, Apple Watch Sport and a Special edition of Apple Watch covered with 18-karat gold. It will be offered in two sizes - 38mm and 42mm. The watch will come with 6 interchangable straps - Leather Loop, Modern Buckle, tough and durable Sport Band, Milanese Loop, Link bracelet and Classic Buckle.

The Apple Watch comess with retina display covered by Sapphire. It is loaded with a digital crown that serves as the main home button. One of the major highlights of the watch is that you will have a lot of ways to change the watch face every day which includes Mickey Mouse, Modular, Motion, Solar, Astronomy, Utility, TimeLapse and others.

Coming to its specs, the Apple Watch features a 1.5-inch display and is powered by a S1 chip. The watch can be charged via inductive charging and MagSafe unit. You have to keep the rear end of the watch close to the charging port and the magnets attract it to place it in the correction. It also include suite of sensors that track information from users body.

Users will be ablle to check out the notification or texts appearing in your handset, make calls, Send message, track health and fitness. You can also adjust volume of music running in the phone and activate SIRI by pushing the Crown button to know the information regarding anything your are looking for.
