CES 2015 : Lenovo Launch Yoga Tablet 2 With AnyPen Technology

Lenovo launched the Yoga Tablet 2 with Windows 8.1 and AnyPen technology at the ongoing CES 2015. The tablet will feature an 8-inch screen but the main attraction is the AnyPen technology.

The AnyPen technology will enable users to use any pen or pencil as a stylus on the device. This makes sketching and note-taking more easier. For those worried about scratching the screen with harsher objects, Lenovo says that the screen is quite durable. Lenovo also said the the pen or pencil will even make touchscreen navigation easier than using a finger

Coming to the specs of the Yoga Tablet 2, it features an 8-inch IPS display with 10-point multi-touch and 178-degree viewing angle. The Tablet is powered by a 1.86GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3745 chipset coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB Internal storage [microSD card support upto 64GB].

Camera features include an 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.6-megapixel front camera. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB OTG. The tablet is backed by 6,400mAh battery.

Lenovo’s new tablet also sports Dolby and Wolfsen Hi-Fi speakers. It includess built-in kickstand that allows you to set the tablet up in four different modes. It even comes with a 'Hang' mode, in which which you can hang the tablet from a hook on the wall.

The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 will go on sale globally towards end of January and will cost $299 (Rs. 19,000).
