CES 2015 : Lenovo Vibe Band VB10 Announced With E-Ink Display

Alongside the Vibe X2 Pro and P90 Android smartphones, Lenovo on Monday also announced its first wearable device with the launch of a smartband dubbed Vibe Band VB10 at CES 2015, Las Vegas.

The Vibe Band VB 10 features a 1.43-inch e-ink display. The smartband display notifications for calls, messages, e-mails and social networking apps like Facebook and twitter. It includes a phone finder functionality that activates the ringtone on your smartphone at the push of a button. The  accelerometer on the smartband  tracks steps walked, calories consumed, distance covered and sleeping patterns.

The Lenovo Vibe Band VB10 offers a long battery life with its e-ink display. It offers up to seven days of battery life on a single charge with the display and Bluetooth always turned on. The smart band is IPx7-certified and is compatibe with devices running Android 4.3 and above, and iOS. It also includes Bluetooth 4.0 and a Micro-USB.

The Vibe Band VB will be priced at $89 (Rs. 5,500) and wil be available in April.
