Lava Iris X1 Mini And X1 Grand Smartphones Launched In India

Lava launched two new smartphones in the Iris X1 series, the Lava Iris X1 Mini and X1 Grand in India. The company claims that the two handsets with its additional features like Intelligent flip cover, Smart Wakeup, Gestures and smart covers will deliver a delightful user experience.

The Lava Iris X1 Mini features a 4-inch WVGA display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core porcessor paired with 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage. Camera features include 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel front facing camera. It is backed by 1,750mAh battery and runs Android 4.4 KitKat.

The bigger member of the family Lava Iris X1 Grand features a 5-inch IPS display with 854x480 pixels screen resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage [microSD card support upto 32GB]. 

It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with dual-LED flash and 2-megapixel front camera. Other features include dual speakers, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and 2200mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat which will get update to Android 5.0 Lollipop. The X1 Grand comes bundled with a free flip cover.

 The Lava Iris X1 Mini and X1 Grand will be priced at Rs. 7326 and Rs. 4348 and will go on sale in February via retail stores and e-commerce websites.
