LG G Flex 2 To Go On Sale In South Korea On January 30
LG's curved smartphone G Flex 2 will be officially released and go on sale in South Korea on January 30. The device was showcased at CES 2015, Las Vegas, earlier this month.
The curved phone will be priced at KRW 800,000 (Rs. 45,000), and will be available via all three major telecom carriers in South Korea. The LG G Flex 2 will be available in two colour variants - Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red.
The main highlight of the G Flex smartphone is its flexible display, along with a "self-healing" rear cover. The LG G Flex 2 is the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 powered smartphone. LG has also improved the 'Self Healing' back, the device will now get healed within 10 seconds.
The LG G Flex 2 features a 5.5-inch full-HD curved P-OLED display with 403ppi pixel density. The smartphone is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU and paired with 2GB LPDDR4 RAM and 16GB and 32GB storage variants [microSD card support]. The smartphone runs Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box.
Camera features include a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS+ and dual-LED two tone flash and laser guided autofocus. While the front snapper features a 2.1-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE-A, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, SlimPort, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB 2.0. The smartphone packs a 3000mAh non-removavable battery. The device supports quick charging with battery reaching 50% in less than 40 minutes after putting it for charging.
