LG Ice Cream Smart Clamshell Smartphone Launched In Korea

LG launched a new clamshell smartphone dubbed LG Ice Cream Smart in South Korea. This is the second clamshell smartphone from the company after the LG Wine Smart which was announced in September, last year.

Compared to the Wine Smart, the Ice Cream features a more youthful look but share the same specs.

The LG Ice Cream smart runs Android KitKat 4.4 and features 3.5-inch HVGA LCD display with 320x480 screen resolution. The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage with microSD card support upto 32GB.

Camera department is handled by an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include LTE, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, DMB-TV and Bluetooth 4.0. It is backed by 1700mAh battery. The handset measures 118.6x59.4x16.9mm and weighs 138 grams and will be available in Mint and Pink colour variants.


The LG Ice Cream Smart will be available in its home turf on January 30. There is no details of availability for international markets.
