Motorola Starts Rolling Out Android 5.0 Lollipop Update For Moto G (1st And 2nd Gen) In India

Motorola has started rolling out Android Lollipop update for Moto G 1st Gen and 2nd Gen smartphones in India and Moto G 2nd Gen in US. The company announced that the update is rolling OTA (over the air) in phases, and users should look for the update notification on their device. The new firmware carries the build number 22.21.25

The announcement was made by Motorola on its twitter account which read - is rolling out in phases to (2nd Gen) in US & (1st & 2nd Gen) in India. Look for the notification on your device!

You can also check for the update manually by going to Settings > About Phone > System Update

According to the change-logs the new Android Lollipop 5.0 update brings new Material Design changes, notification will now appear on the lockscreen, new interruption and downtime setting, redesigned multitasking UI, ambient display, updated motorola assist, Smart lock, enhanced performance and improved battery performance.
