Earlier this month Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 2 which was an affordable smartphone that supported both LTE connectivity and dual-SIM. Now an improved edition of the Redmi 2 was spotted on TENAA listing.
The improved edition of Redmi 2 has many similarities to the standard model but has two differences. The current Redmi 2 has 1GB RAM and 8GB Internal storage. The new edition of the Redmi 2 will pack 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Other features remain the same which include 4.7-inch display, 64-bitSnapdragon 410 processor with 1280x720 resolution, 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. The handset will run Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI 6.0 UI on top.
There is no details on the availability of the device, but since the handset has been listed on TENAA, we can assume that the device may be officially announced soon.
