Xiaomi Announce Mi Headphone And Mi Box Mini

Xiaomi, along with the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro also announced the Mi Headphone and Mi Box Mini. The headphone is the company's first attempt into premium headphone segment whereas the Box Mini is an Android powered set top box.

The Box Mini is an Android powered set top box that is one-fourth of the size of the Mi Box. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory. Other features include 1080p resolution support, Dolby, DTS audio, and dual band Wi-Fi 802.11n support. It can be controlled via a Bluetooth remote control which comes with 11 buttons.

The Mi Box Mini will be available in orange, green, pink, blue and yellow colours. The Box Mini is priced at CNY 199 (Rs. 2,000 ; $30)

On the other hand, the Mi Headphone, is a semi-open headphone with 50mm beryllium diaphragm speakers and interchangable over-ear and on-ear covers. It features a low 32-ohm impedance, and a silver-plated straight cable. It offers a unique semi-open acoustic experience which present a natural sound quality. The Mi headphone is expected to perform better than the headphones which costs double. The Mi Headphone
will cost CNY 499 (Rs. 5,000 ; $80)
