Xiaomi Mi 4 To Launch In India On January 28

Xiaomi's Vice President of Internation Operations, Hugo Barra at the sidelines of the Beijing event yesterday announced that the company's 2014 flagship smartphone Mi 4 will be launched at an event in New Delhi, India on January 28. The Xiaomi Mi 4 was announced back in July last year and was made available in August.

The Mi 4 follows its others family members, the Mi 3, Redmi 1s and Redmi Note 3G/4G in India, offering top-notch features for an attractive price.

The Mi 4 features a 5-inch full HD screen and is powered by 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. It comes in two storage variants 16GB and 64GB with no microSD card support and runs Xiaomi's MIUI with Android KitKat on top. Other features include 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera and 3080mAh battery.

There are no details regarding price and availability of the Mi 4 but we all already know that it will be sold by Flipkart via flash sale.On Thursday, Xiaomi at an event in Beijing, China announced the Mi Note, Mi Note pro alongside Mi Headphone and Mi Box Mini. Unfortunately none of these devices will reach India at any time soon.
