Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Spotted On AnTuTu And Geekbench's Database, Shows Impressive Performance
The anticipated curved-display variant of Samsung's next flagship Galaxy S6 was spotted on two benchmark websites - AnTuTu and Geekbench. The results on both the benchmark website has been impressive. The Curved display variant of Galaxy S6 will simply be named Galaxy S6 Edge.
A Samsung handset with model number SM-G925W8 was spotted on AnTuTu benchmark.
Further, the benchmark test result show a score of 60,978, which is the highest score ever recorded at AnTuTu.
The Galaxy S6 Edge also made an appearance at Geekbench's database. According to the listing the device is powered by Exynos 7420 processor. The handset scored 1,492 points on single-core test and 5,077 points on multi-core test. Like the AnTuTu benchmark the in Geekbench Galaxy S6 Edge shows an impressive performance.
The result of single-core test is lower than iPhone 6 Plus and Nexus 9 but in multi-core test, it shows that the Galaxy S6 Edge is the world's fastest smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will be unveiled at MWC 2015 alongside the standard modal of Galaxy S6 on March 1.
