Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Coming Soon To Indian Market

At the annual Samsung Forum Event in Thailand, the company announced that it will launch the Galaxy Tab Active B2B tablet in the India soon. The Galaxy Tab Active will be priced at about Rs. 52,000 (not confirmed yet) and will be available via authorised B2B solutions partners.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is the company's first rugged tablet with anti-shocking covering and can withstand 1.2-meter drop. It is IP67 certified and is water/dust proof. There is also a C-Pen stylus for alternative input. The tablet also comes with Samsung's Knox Security to safeguard. It is certified Citrix-Ready and SAP-certified for SAP Work Manager and SAP CRM Service manager.

Coming to the specs, the Galaxy Tab Active features a 8-inch WXGA display, powered by 1.2GHz processor and runs Android 4.4 KitKat. It packs 1.5GB RAM and houses 16GB internal storage. The tablet comes equipped with 3.15-megapixel rear camera and 1.2-megapixel front facing camera. A 4450 battery gives it the juice to run.
