Samsung Sends Out Invites For March 1 MWC Event, Teases A Curved Design

Samsung sent out press invites to an unpacked media event to be held in MWC 2015 Barcelona on March 1. Samsung is expected to launch their next flagship Galaxy S6 alongside a curved edge variant at the event.

The invite comes with the tagline "What's next" which features a silhouetted edge of a handset alongside the strapline. This points towards Samsung revealing two versions of the Galaxy S6, one the standard model, another with the curved edge on two sides, like the Galaxy Note 4 Edge.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to feature a 5-inch or 5.1-inch QHD Super AMOLED display,  Exynos 7420 chipset with Octa-core CPU,  3GB RAM, 20-megapixel rear camera and a heart rate monitor.

There are no details on the curved edge variant of Samsung Galaxy S6. So far, it is known that the device will be called Galaxy S Edge

Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event will start at 6:30 PM CET (11:30 PM IST) on Sunday 1st March, a day before MWC opens its doors.
