Spice Launch Android One Smartphones In Indonesia, Nepal and Bangladesh

Spice Mobility announced the launch of a new Android One Smartphone in Indonesia, Nepal and Bangladesh. In Indonesia the device will be released under the brand name Nexian Journey One. There are no details of the model names for the other two regions - Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

The Nexian Journey One will carry the same specs as the Spice's Dream Uno which was launched in India last year in September. It will be the first smartphone to run Android Lollipop 5.1, which is not yet officially unveiled by Google. According to Spice the latest version of the Android OS will offer improved battery life, enhanced security features and smarter notifications.

Coming to the specs, it features Android 4.5-inch IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, paired with 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage [microSD card support]. Camera features include 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. It is backed by 1700mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS/ EDGE and 3G.
