Unlock Your Chromebook Using Your Android Phone With 'Smart Lock'

You can now unlock your Chromebook with your Android smartphone using Google's Smart Lock.

You will need a phone running Android 5.0 and Bluetooth and a Chromebook with OS version 40+ and Bluetooth. To connect, the Android handsets Bluetooth should always be turned on and a phone must be within 100-foot Bluetooth range and near the Chromebook.

If you have more than one compatible phone nearby, turn off the connection if not being used. To sign in, Both your Android phone and chromebook should be connected to the Interne. Click your account picture which can be found in the bottom right corner. Click settings > show advanced settings. Click Setup on the Smart Lock. Follow the instruction to connect the phone and Chromebook. Make sure the Phone and the Chromebook are close so that they can detect each other's bluetooth connection. 

After it is setup, your phone will get a notification letting you know that it's connected to Chromebook. Android tablets are not supported at present. To read more about this feature hit the source link.
