Acer's 15.6-inch Chromebook C910 gets faster with an Intel Core i5 processor
Acer has introduced a new version of its Acer C910 Chromebook. The new version has Intel Core i5-5200U Broadwell processor that the company claims offers the ""fastest performance in a commercial Chromebook to date." The older version had a slower Intel Core i3-5005U or Intel Celeron 3205U processors.
The new Acer C910 has a reinforced cover that withstands up to 60kg of force, while the corners can tolerate up to 45cm drops without damage.

Acer's new Chrombook features a 15.6-inch display and will be available in two resolutions 1920x1080 pixels resolution - full HD IPS (1920x1080 resolution) display or HD (1366x768 resolution) display. The graphics will be supported by Intel HD 5500 graphics.
It comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB of solid state drive. The Chromebook delivers all-day battery life of up to 8 hours. Connectivity features include 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, and an SD card slot. It will also have front facing stereo speaker and a large touchpad. The Acer C910 Chromebook measures 15.4″ x 10.1″ x 1″ and weighs about 4.85 pounds.
The new version of Acer C910 Chromebook will go on sale in the U.S in April for a starting price of $499.99.
