Acer Unveils new Liquid Z and 64-bit Liquid Jade Z Android smartphones

Taiwanese manufacturer Acer announced three new smartphone in ts Z-series lineup - Liquid Z220, Liquid Z520 and Liquid Jade Z at MWC 2015.

Acer Liquid Z220 and Liquid Z250 are entry level handsets. Liquid Z220 features 4-inch WVGA (480x800) display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. It is equipped with 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera.

The Acer Z250 features the same specs as Acer Liquid 220 with minor changes. It features 8-megapixel rear camera and DTS studio Sound Speakers.

Lastly, the Acer Liquid Jade Z sports 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) display with Zero Air Gap technology protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by 64-bit Mediatek processor and camera department is handled by a 13-megapixel main camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.It sports a 7.9mm-thin body and weighs 110 grams.

Acer Liquid Z220 and Z250 is priced at €89 and €109 while the Acer Liquid Jade Z is comes with a price tag of  €199. The Liquid Z220 and Liquid Jade Z will go on sale in Europe starting March and Liquid Z520 will be available in April.
