Garmin Vivosmart Activity Tracker launched in India for Rs. 10,990

Navigation device maker Garmin has launched its Vivosmart fitness tracker in India. The wearable device is priced at 10,990 and is available to buy exclusively via Snapdeal. It will be offered in five color variants - black, slate, blue, purple and berry.

The smartwatch feature an OLED display, is water resistant and deliver seven days of battery life on a single charge. The display of the wearable can be activated with a double tap.

The Garmin Vivosmart, when connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth, mirrors notifications such as vibration alerts from calls, text messages, calendar reminders, emails and more. It can keep track of steps walked, distance covered and calories burnt. The device can also monitor user's sleep time.

Users will have to install the Garmin Connect app on their smartphone to connect to Vivosmart to keep track track of their daily goals and can also link it to MyFitnessPal account for more services.
