Lenovo K3 Note is a 5.5-inch budget-friendly smartphone for $145 (Rs. 9000)
Lenovo has launched a new smartphone in China today. Dubbed Lenovo K3 Note, it will compete against the likes of Xiaomi's Redmi Note and Meizu's M1 Note in the mega affordable smartphone market.
The Lenovo K3 note features a 5.5-inch FHD display and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Mediatek MT6752 processor clocked at 1.7GHz paired with 2GB RAM. It houses 16GB internal storage and microSD card slot (up to 32GB supported). It runs in Android 5.0 Lollipop with Vibe UI on top.
Camera features include 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity option include Dual-SIM support, 2G/3G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the usual suite of sensors. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
The body of the Lenovo K3 Note is 7.6mm thin and weighs 150 grams.
The Lenovo K3 Note is priced at CNY 899 ($145 | Rs. 9,000). Unfortunately at present the device will be sold exlcusively in China via Chinese carrier China Unicom. There is no details of global availability of the smartphone.
There is also a different Teana variant of the Lenovo K3 Note, which will have a "ceramic piece vibration speaker". It is priced a little higher at CNY 999 ($160 | Rs.10,000)
