Xiaomi 'Ferrari' smartphone with mid-range specs spotted on GFX Benchmark

A new Xiaomi smartphone codenamed Ferrari has been seen on the GFX Benchmarks listings, revealing the specs of the handset.

The listing reveals that the smartphone comes with a 4.9-inch full-HD display with 1920x1080 screen resolution. It is powered by a octa-core 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 450 GPU. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The device runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.

The handset sports 12-megapixel auto focus rear camera with flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera which is capable of recording full HD video in 1080p. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The GFXBench benchmark test reveals that Xiaomi Ferrari scores 692 in its single core text and 2481 in multi-core test which is just average. The specs will seem only good if the device comes with a reasonable price tag.
