Yu teases specs of 'Project Ceaser' smartphone

Micromax owned subsidary Yu, has again teased its upcoming 'Project Ceaser' smartphone and this time takes a dig on Xiaomi's Redmi 2.

The teaser image compare Xiaomi's Redmi 2 with Yu's upcoming smartphone. The caption in the teaser image reads "Read Mi lips, the Future is Yu". Again the alphabet M in the word Mi resembles Xiaomi's logo.

The teaser says the upcoming Yu smartphone will have better specs. It will come with 64-bit processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage doubling what Xiaomi is offering with the Redmi 2.

So, now it is confirmed Yu's Project Ceaser will feature 64-bit processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and will run on Android Lollipop-based CyanogenMod 12 OS. other specs are still a mystery.

Yu had previously taken a dig at Xiaomi, by saying that Xiaomi's devices runs KitKat in the age of Lollipop.

Yu's upcoming smartphone is expected to release in the second half of April this year.
