Apple releases iOS 8.3 with racially diverse emoji, new Siri languages and more

Apple iOS 8.3 update is being rolled out gradually to all supported devices. The update is available as an over-the-air (OTA) update or through iTunes for devices running iOS 8 that include iPhone 4S, 5, 5C, 5S, 6, and 6 Plus; all iPads except the first-generation model; and the fifth-generation iPod Touch. The update include several new features, design enhancements and a large number of bug fixes.

The new features include new Emoji keyboard with over 300 new characters, revamped emoji picker with new character, more skin-tone options that depict people, wireless CarPlay support, two-factor authentication for Google accounts and Apple Pay functionality enabled for China's UnionPay network. Now, Siri comes with Additional language and country support. It can now understand the Indian accent.

The iOS 8.3 bring improved performance for App launch and responsiveness, Messages, Wi-Fi, Control center, Safari tabs, keyboard shortcuts and third party keyboards. The new build also updates a few apps like Passbook, Messages and photos. Users now can download free apps from the app store without the need to enter the Apple password.
