Asus to launch 5.5-Inch display variants of ZenFone 2 in India on April 23

Asus ZenFone 2 will be launched in India on April 23. On Wednesday, Asus sent out invites for the launch event of Zenfone 2 which will happen in New Delhi, India on April 23.

The Asus ZenFone 2 was initially unveiled at CES 2015 in January and the company claims it to be the world's first smartphone to pack 4GB RAM. Since its launch, Asus has announced several variants of the ZenFone 2. 

ZenFone 2 comes in five variants which differs in terms of screen, RAM and processor. Out of these, three variants with 5.5-inch screen will be launched in India - ZenFone 2 ZE551ML that comes in either 4GB RAM or 2GB RAM and Asus ZenFone ZE550ML.

It's worth noting the 5-inch screen variant ZenFone 2 ZE500CL will not be launched in India. This was confirmed by Asus at a media preview event.

In addition, the company will also launch a 10000mAh power bank and two other mobile accessories at the event.

Note that the ZenFone 2 ZE551ML comes in two RAM options 2GB and 4GB. The 2GB RAM model features 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3560 processor and comes with 16GB internal storage. The 4GB RAM model is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor and comes in either 32GB or 64GB internal storage.
