Gionee Pioneer P4S launched in India for Rs. 7,799

Gionee has launced a new smartphone in its Pioneer-series called Pioneer P4S in India. The Pioneer P4S is priced at Rs. 7,799 and is available via online and offline retailers. It comes bundled with a free window flip cover that display time, date, weather and contacts.

The Gionee Pioneer P4S features 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) display and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor paired with 1GB RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage which is further expandable via microSD card to up to 32GB. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat.

Camera features include 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. The rear camera comes with features like face recognition, Panorama, geo-tagging and HDR options.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM support 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. A 1800mAh battery runs the show on Gionee Pioneer P4S. It also comes with HotKnot file transfer technology (similar to NFC).
