HTC One M8s is a cheaper version of HTC One M8

HTC announced a cheaper variant of HTC One M8 dubbed HTC One M8s. The smartphone is identical in terms of appearance, construction (all metal curved body) and a few other internals as the HTC One M8.

The HTC One M8s sports a 5-inch (1920x1080 pixels) full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM. 

The smartphone comes with 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top.

Camera features include 13-megapixel pixel duo rear camera with dual-LED flash and F/2.0 aperture. On the front it sports a 5-megapixel camera.

Connectivity features include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and GPS.

Audio features include 3.5 mm headset jack, Dual front-facing stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers, HTC BoomSound.

The HTC One M8s is backed by 2840mAh battery, measures 146.36 x 70.6 x 9.55mm, weighs 160 grams and comes in silver gold or gunmetal grey colors.

The HTC One M8s comes with a price tag of £380 ($560 | Rs. 35,000) in U.K and is exclusive to Europe for now. There is no word on the global availability.
