Lenovo P70 with 4000mAh battery launched in India for Rs.15,999
Lenovo has launched the P70 smartphone in India for Rs. 15,999. The device is listed on company's online store in the country and is up for pre-orders. It will start shipping on April 14. The device was initially unveiled in China in February.
The Lenovo P70 sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display and is powered by an 1.7 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752 64-bit processor paired with Mali T760-MP2 GPU and 2GB RAM.
The P70 comes with 16GB of internal storage and microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB cards. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat which will be upgraded to Android Lollipop in Q2.
Camera features include 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel fixed focus font camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The Lenovo P70 packs a 4000mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 18 hours of talk time and up to 696 hours of standby time on 3G networks. It supports quick charge functionality that allows the device to get fully charged in 3 hours while a 15-minute charge offers up to 4 hours of talk time. The P70 can also be used to charge other devices via USB OTG cable.
