LG Music Flow wireless speakers with Google Cast launched

LG Electronics launched Music Flow family of Smart Hi-Fi speakers and sound bars that are compatible with Google Cast.

Users will be able to 'cast' their music from Android, iOS and ChromeOS devices from their favorite online music services that include Google Play Music, pandora, Songza, iHeartRadio, Rdio and many more.

LG's Music Flow family include company's first battery powered Portable Wi-Fi streaming speaker H4, three additional Wi-Fi streaming speaker H3, H5 and H7 and three Wi-Fi streaming sound bars - HS9, HS6 and HS7. These models can be controlled via LG's Music Flow mobile app for Android, iOS or Chromebook mobile devices.

Users can listen to high quality sound because the music is sent from the cloud and not mirrored from the mobile device. This aspect ensures that other phone operations such as incoming calls or text messages do not interrupt the audio playback.

LG's speakers come with features like Home Cinema Mode and Auto Music Play. LG Music Flow System speakers and sound bars can be connected to devices as well as another in a daisy chain setup over Advanced Wireless network. It can also connect to streaming services via Bluetooth.
