LG shows off its latest UX 4.0, will debut in G4

LG announced the latest version of its Android user interface dubbed LG UX 4.0 for its upcoming flagship device G4 that will be unveiled on April 28.

The LG UX 4.0 is simple and intuitive and has easy to use interface that delivers high level of functionality through user settings. LG's new UI is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It comes with several features like Quick shot, Smart board, Smart alerts, Ring ID, Expert camera mode and more.

Quick Shot feature lets users to easily capture scenes often missed, even when the screen is turned off. To do this press volume button on the botton of the back twice to capture the moment. 

The Smart Board collects information from various apps like Calendar, music, health, etc. in a widget form for quick glance. Smart Alerts provides alerts based on user's understanding of the environment and lifestyle.

The Expert Camera mode can deliver DSLR-level professional quality for images through a variety of settings. With Calendar app users can set multiple schedules in one place, that can be managed together. It can also pull information from social feeds. 

The Gallery app automatically arranges images in separate albums according to place and time taken. Lastly the Ring ID feature lets user assign separate ringtones for different people in the address book. In addition the LG UX 4.0 comes loaded with a host of features like Knock Code, Q Memo, Q Slide, and Q Note etc

The LG G4 will be the first smartphone to come equipped with the LG UX 4.0. In the future it will be equipped on other LG devices.
