Micromax Canvas Tab P480 with voice calling capabilities launched in India for Rs. 6,999

Micromax's latest tablet dubbed Canvas Tab P480 comes with 3G connectivity, dual-SIM support and voice calling capabilities. It comes in Blue and White color options and will be available across India from the last week of this month for Rs. 6,999.

The tablet sports a 7-inch (1024x600) pixels IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage and is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat which is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future.

Camera features include 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with HD recording and 2-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS.

Micromax Canvas Tab P480 is backed by a 3000mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 9 hours of 2G talktime and 169 hours of standby time.

The tablet comes equipped with features like Quicklook that enables a single-screen tiled windows for social updates and newsfeed. It also comes with interesting offers. These include 3 months free offline subscription for Saavn Pro, 6 months of free premium subscription of Treucaller, 1 month subscription of Hello TV for watching online TV and free 500 redeemable MAD points.
