Innos D6000 with 6000mAh battery, USB Type-C announced
Innos has officially announced the D6000 smartphone in China. It was initially showcased at MWC 2015, Barcelona.
The main highlight of the D6000 is its massive 6000mAh battery can last up to 3 to 5 days of heavy usage , but there is a catch. The phone actually comes with dual-batteries to reach 6000mAh - A 3500mAh removable battery and a 2500mAh battery non-removable battery.
The batteries are chargerd at the same time using Type-C 3.1 microUSB port and comes with DuoCharging technology that allows both the batteries to be charged simultaneously. It also features dual-channel intelligent charging, lucidlogix saving program to improve gaming and other performance.
The D6000 sports 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) JDI display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood there is a 64-bit 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 614 processor paired with 3GB RAM. It comes with 32GB non expandable storage and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
Camera features include 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Omnivision, F/2.2 aperture and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and taking selfies.
On the connectivity front it supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, USB Type C 3.1 port, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. All of these features are wrapped inside a body that measures 11.9mm thick.
The Innos D6000 is priced at CNY 1799 ($279) and will go on sale in June. There is also a second model called D6000m that is powered by MediaTek and packs 2GB RAM. It is priced at CNY 1000 ($160). There is no word on global availability.
