Lava Iris 348, Iris 349 Sleek with entry-level specs listed on company website

Lava has silenty launched two new entry-level handsets in India - Iris 348 and Iris 349 Sleek. Both of them are listed on the company site.

Lava Iris 348 features 3.5-inch HVGA (320x480 pixels) TFT display and is powered by 1GHz single-core processor paired with 256MB RAM. The handset comes with 512MB of internal storage and microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB microSD cards. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat. Camera features include 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera.

Connectivity options include GPRS, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.1 and dual-SIM support, unfortunately there is no support for 3G. It is backed by 1100mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and comes in black or White.

Lava Iris 349 Sleek ships with the dated Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is backed by 1300mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 11 hours of talk time. Other specs are identical to Iris 348. It comes in dark blue and white colors.

The Lava Iris 348 and Iris 349 Sleek are priced at Rs. 3,099 and Rs. 2,999 respectively. There are no details on availability yet.
