Lenovo A3900, a $80 phone goes official in China


Lenovo has announced a new low-cost smartphone for the Chinese market dubbed A3900. It is now listed on the company's website in China for CNY 499 ($80 | Rs. 5,100) and is available in Black and Pearl White colors. The A3900 was earlier spotted on TENNA (China's FCC) in February this year.

As per the listings the Lenovo A3900 features a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor paired with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Vibe UI on top.

Camera features include 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. The smartphones supports 4G, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 803.22 b/g/n, Micro-USB, USB OTG and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. A 2300mAh battery fuels the Lenovo A3900. It is 8.95mm thin and weighs 157 grams.

Unfortunately there are no details on the global availability of the Lenovo A3900.
