Liverpool FC Edition XOLO One smartphone launched for Rs 6,299 in India

In January last year Xolo announced a three-season partnership with England's Liverpool FC to become its regional marketing partner in South Asia. The partnership was promoted through 'Mission Million' campaign. As a part of the campaign, the company gave away a million Liverpool FC branded footballs with every smartphone purchase.

Today, Xolo launched a limited Liverpool FC edition of their Xolo One handset for football fans in India dubbed "Liverpool FC Edition Xolo One". The handset comes with premium LFC-branded leather finish rear panel, a special boot animation, Liverpool exclusive contents including wallpapers, LFC-branded charger and back case.

Commenting on the launch, Sunil Raina, Business Head, Xolo, said, "The launch is an extension of our partnership with LFC, giving fans more reasons to cheer and celebrate their love for football. The Liverpool FC Edition Xolo One personifies performance and style, and is loaded with exclusive LFC content and branded accessories, adding to fans' delight."

As far as the specs are concerned, it is similar to that of original Xolo One, but with OS update. The Liverpool FC Edition Xolo One features 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display with pixel density of 218ppi. Under the hood there is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor paired with Mali 400 GPU and 1GB RAM.

The handset comes with 8GB internal storage and microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB microSD card. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

Camera features include 5-megapixel fixed-focused camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G and dual-SIM support. A 1700mAh battery runs the show that is rated to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 377 hours of standby time on 3G network.

The Liverpool FC Edition Xolo One is priced at Rs. 6,299 and will be exclusive available via Snapdeal starting today.
