Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G is the first smartphone to pack iris recognition authentication
Fujitsu has come out with a unique smartphone in Japan. Dubbed Arrows NX F-04G, it is the first smartphone to pack an iris recognition authentication feature which has been named 'Iris Passport'. With this feature, it just takes about half a second to unlock your device.
The technology can also be used by any application or payment authorizations that requires password. Fujitsu claims that the phone can distinguish the eyes of twins and that it constantly learns about your eyes and its patterns.Another highlighting feature of the phone is Transfer Jet (similar to Galaxy S3's Beam) which allows for high speed file sharing between Arrows NX devices using NFC with transfer speed of 375Mbps.
The Fujitsu Arrows F-04G sports 5.2-icnh display with 1440p resolution and is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor paired with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB RAM. The phone comes with 32GB internal storage that is expandable via microSD cards. There is also a 21-megapixel Exmor RS camera on the back, 4G LTE and WiFi support. Powering all this is a 3120mAh battery with Android 5.0 Lollipop running inside.
Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G is priced at US$ 750 (Rs. 48,000) and can be purchased via NTT Docomo. It will be exclusive to Japan and don't expect it to be released outside Japan.
