Intex Aqua Extreme II with octa-core SoC launched for Rs. 9,590

Intex's latest budget phone offering the Aqua-series is the Aqua Extreme II. The company says that the Aqua Extreme II "will enthral the consumers with its top of the line specs while giving them excellent value for money,"

The Intex Aqua Exterme II features 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor paired with 2GB RAM. Onboard storage is 16GB, further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and comes with a Star Launcher feature, which gives users access to their favorite apps directly from the lock screen without unlocking the phone.

Aqua Extreme II sports 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. Rear camera features include scene detection, face recognition, panorama, geo-tagging, best shot, smile shot, and HDR options.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2000mAh battery that is rated to deliver talk time of 8 hours along with a standby time of 300 hours. It measures 140 x 71.9 x7 .9mm, weighs 132 grams and comes in White, Black, Champagne and Silver colors.
