Refreshed Xolo Cube 5.0 gets 2GB RAM, 5MP front shooter for Rs. 8,888

Xolo launched a refreshed variant of the Cube 5.0 in India. The refreshed model comes with twice the memory and better front facing camera. It is priced at Rs. 8,888 and will be available across retail stores in the country.

The refreshed Xolo Cube 5.0 features 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD OGS (One Glass Solution technology) display with ASAHI Dragontrail glass protection. The screen has 85% NTSC color gamut that offers ultra-high color contrast and vivid colors. 

Under the hood there is an 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor paired with Mali 400 GPU and 2GB RAM. It houses 8GB internal storage, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. 

The Cube 5.0 sports 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front shooter for taking selfies. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2100mAh battery and comes in White, Black and Gold colors.

By comparison the original Xolo Cube 5.0 packed 1GB RAM and 2-megapixel front shooter. Xolo also announced that the Original Xolo Cube 5.0 is now available for Rs. 7,489, down from the launch price of Rs. 7,999.
