Xolo Black with dual rear camera coming soon to Flipkart

Xolo is expected to launch a online-only sub-brand Black for which it has partnered with Flipkart to sell the smartphones. Xolo will be releasing one smartphone per quarter and each phone will be available for nine months only.
Xolo will also tie-up with one of the leading telecom operator in the country to release the phone.

The company has released a teaser video of the smartphone which teases "Experience the design that is stain free and smudge free". The teaser also shows the phone's brushed metal frame, glass back and dual rear cameras with LED flash. It also suggests that the rear panel will be protected by Gorilla Glass.

Xolo's first phone under Black will be photography focused and will have a dual-rear camera setup with depth-sensing support. It comes with an updated HIVE 1.5 UI based on Android Lollipop and supports 4G LTE. It will be priced under Rs. 15,000. The device will also focus on offering attractive design, audio, quality, performance and battery life. Rest of the specs are still a mystery.

Xolo believes that the new Black sub-brand will be about 'high-end technology at honest pricing'. The company says that the product under Black brand will be future ready and offers best software and hardware experience at the price range of Rs. 8,000 and Rs. 15,000.

With the launch of new sub brand, Black, Xolo will be competing against the likes of Meizu, Yu. Xiaomi, OnePlus and Huawei's Honor who are performing well with the online-only sale strategy.
