LG G4 Beat (G4s) with 5,2-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 615 SoC announced
After introducing LG G4 C and G4 Stylus, LG has announced yet another smartphone in the G4 series. Dubbed G4 Beat, it sports the same design as the flasgship G4 with Volume rocker and power button located on the rear panel.
The LG G4 Beat features 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display and is powered by Octa-Core (1.5 GHz & 1.0 GHz) Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 1.5GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB, futher expandable via microSD card. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with UX 4.0 on top.
Camerawise it sports 13-megapixel or 8-megapixel rear camera (depending on region) with LED flash. It also has Laser Auto Focus that should provide fast focus even in low light condition. On the front there is 5-megapixel shooter for taking selfies with Gesture Interval shot function.
Some of the camera features include Color Spectrum Sensor that measures the exact RGB and infrared values of ambient light and objects, resulting in colors that is true to nature. There is also manual mode to adjust shutter speed, ISO, exposure and white balance easily.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/GLONASS, USB 2.0 and NFC. A 2300mAh battery fuels the LG G4 Beat. It measures 142.7 x 72.6 x 9.85mm, weighs 139g and comes in Metallic Silver, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold Colors.
The LG G4 Beat will be initially released in Europe and Latin America including France, Germany, and Brazil, followed by Canada, India, South Africa, Turkey, Russia, Singapore, and other markets this month. The pricing and availability will be revealed when it launches in these regions.
