Motorola refreshes Moto Hint, now lasts longer and sounds better
Motorola introduced a new smartphone accessory, the Moto Hint in September last year alongside the second gen Moto G and Moto X. For those who don't know the Moto Hint is a tiny wireless Bluetooth earbud that lets you control your Moto X using voice commands.
Now the company has quietly outed the next gen version of Moto Hint ahead of Motorola July 28 event. The Moto hint comes with significant improvements as compared to the first-gen version.
The new Moto Hint comes with a bigger battery that will offer 70 percent more talk time than the first gen version, which is 17 hours of talktime on a single charge. It provides enhanced audio output with improved audio and voice controls. It also supports Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR technology and has CrystalTalk noise and wind-cancelling technology built-in. Lastly, the new version gets a new ear gels that make the second gen Moto Hint more comfortable and fit to wear.
The Moto Hint lets users to hear notifications, make calls, get directions, perform quick search and send message without accessing your smartphones. It also uses an IR proximity sensor on its inner side to turn off automatically when you take off the device, after which the calls are routed back to the smartphone. It comes with a charging case and a charging cable and is available only in black color.
The new Moto Hint is available to buy from e-commerce website Best Buy for $129.99 (Rs. 8,000), $19 (Rs. 1,200) less than the first-gen version.
