Rovio announces Angry Birds 2, flocks into app stores on July 30.

After releasing 15 games starring Angry Birds over the span of six years, Rovio has announced a sequel to the Angry Birds game - Angry Birds 2. Rovio says that Angry Birds 2 will be bigger, badder and birder, but other details of the game are still a mystery. Rovio will reveal more details of the game on July 28 in press events scheduled to be held in New York City and San Francisco.

Angry Birds 2 will flock into app stores on July 30 and is expected to be available for Android, iOS, Windows Phone and BlackBerry 10 on the launch day.

So far, Angry Bird franchise has received 3 billion game download, said the company. Apart from the original Angry Birds, the franchise include popular games like Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Rio, Angry Birds Friends, Angry Birds Space, Angry Birds Star Wars, Angry Birds Star Wars 2, Angry Birds Transformers, Angry Birds Go!, Angry Birds Epic, Angry Birds Fight!, Angry Birds Stella, Angry Birds Stella Pop!, Bad Piggies and Angry Birds Under Pigstruction.
