Samsung Galaxy J2 specs surfaces online

Samsung Galaxy J1 was launched in India earlier this year, followed by the 4G variant of the same device. Now, Samsung is said to be working on a new budget smartphone dubbed Galaxy J2. Specs of the device have surfaced online. 

The Galaxy J2 comes with the model number SM-J200F. It was imported to India for testing and also appeared on Geekbench database.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 features 4.5-inch (800 x 480 pixels) TFT LCD display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor paired with 1.5GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB, further expandable via microSD card. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. On the back there is 5-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and on the front 2-megapixel shooter for taking selfies. Connectivty suite include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2000mAh battery.

There is no word when the Galaxy J2 will be announced, but India is likely to be the first market to get the handset.
