Samsung unveils Galaxy Tab A with S Pen support

Samsung has quietly listed a new mid-range tablet, Galaxy Tab A Plus with S Pen  support on its France-Belgium website. The tablet runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Samsung's TouchWiz UI on top.

Usually, the S Pen comes with Samsung's premium devices with Note branding, Galaxy Tab A Plus is the company's first non-premium device to feature S Pen.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A Plus features 9.7-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) LCD display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Ziilabs ZMS-08 processor paired with 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The tablet sports 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera and 2-megapixel front shooter. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, ANT+, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB 2.0. It is fueled by 6000mAh battery the offers up to 15 hours of web browsing and 14 hours of video playback. It comes in black and white colors.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A Plus has been priced 339 euros ($372 | Rs. 24,000). It comes bundled with 100GB of storage on OneDrive for two years free, one free e-book via Kindle app per month and 12-week subscription to New York Times.
