Windows 10 Mobile Build 10166 now available for fast ring members
Microsoft has released Windows 10 Mobile build 10166 to Insiders on the fast rings. The latest build brings a small number of changes, few feature tweaks and bug fixes.
Microsoft said that, "most of the known issues from build 10149 have been fixed" and the "focus over the past few builds on mobile has been about improvements to core quality."
With the latest build, Microsoft has fixed the post-upgrade migration status screen bug which caused the lock screen to freeze for up to 10 minutes. Microsoft also fixed TPM issue which prevented your phone from being unlocked after you enter your PIN.The colors in the app now appear correctly, including the tilebar in the Outlook Mail app.
You can bid adieu to the old Windows Phone store as the new store is out of beta and is promoted to number one. Updated and improved apps are available in the new Store. Lastly, the battery icon has returned to its usual and normal style.
For first timers who want to download Build 10166, you will need to sign up as a Windows Insider and install the Windows Insider app to get the latest build.
